Targa High Country is a road rally in north east Victoria in Australia. It includes classes for modern cars and historics from a number of eras and offers dramatic closed-road, high-speed stages ideal for tarmac rally experts
Based in Mansfield and Mount Buller the event includes a street stage in Mansfield followed by high-speed sections on closed roads. Each day has eight stages ending with a 20 Km stage to the summit of Mount Buller where the event stops overnight
Tasmanian driver Jason White has been a winning driver in the championship. His Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera saw off stiff competition from the Mazda RX8, Nissan GT-R and Subaru WRX to win the Modern class in Wrest Point.
