If you’ve ever driven round Goodwood circuit, you’ll know Madgwick is a double-apex right-hander where the inside of the track comes to meet you half-way round. Kristensen had an opportunity to dive up the inside of a slower car but was far too canny to take it – he’d have been on the grass half a second later
