Adam Carolla talks 917/30 with Johannes Wuest from the Porsche Museum. Wuest points out that the design is nearly fifty years old, can produce in excess of 1500 hp but weighs only 850 Kg thanks to details like magnesium wheels, gearbox and engine block and hollow titanium screws. Carolla likened the 917 to the Space Program – quite an intriguing analogy as both used engineering and funding to overcome the technology of the period
